Ans. Since skin depths are given as 100m and 200 m respectively
so using the formula,
skin depth (d) =503 √(ρ/f), where ρ-resistivity
skin depth (d) =503 √(ρ/f), where ρ-resistivity
f-frequency
d1=503√(ρ1/1000)
d2=503√(ρ2/1000)
now, d1/d2=(√(ρ1/1000)/√(ρ2/1000))
=√(ρ1/ρ2)
=√(ρ1/ρ2)
⇒ 100/200 =√(ρ1/ρ2)
ρ1/ρ2=1/4
ρ1/ρ2 =0.25
ρ1/ρ2 =0.25
